Elba Sara, Fuerteventura

I booked a week at the Elba Sara as a treat for my wife who had had a horrible couple of months and needed something to look forward to.
After a short transfer we arrived at the hotel and although a couple of hours before the stated check in we were handed the keys to our room which was very welcome as we had started out pretty early that morning.
Our room was quite large, very clean and well decorated with a nice view over the pool area and we could also see the sea. The Hotel was generally in good order being clean and tidy both inside and outside, all of the staff seemed friendly, helpful and well presented. We had booked all inclusive and although the food was ok it was often only lukewarm and the menu repetitive, we also thought the food was laid out in a bit of a random fashion and found it best to have a good look before we started getting our food. We both commented that we could not have faced 2 weeks all inclusive as the food was too limited. The resort of Caleta de Fuste was quite nice and about 15 minutes walk from the hotel but we did have a small shopping centre next door which was very convenient for odd bits and bobs but mainly clothes shops.
Overall impression are that this hotel meets its 4 star rating in all respects with the exception of the 2 star food. I would go back but I don't think I would go all inclusive preferring to eat out.
