Elements Eatery is a buffet style eat as much as you like restaurant based in the Theatre Disctrict in Milton Keynes. It is located next to TGI's opposite The Rat and Parrott. I first visited this restaurant a few years ago with my boyfriend (now fiance!) and I must say we have become regulars threre!

It is based on the first floor of a large building so just follow the stairs up. There is also a lift available for those who need it.

Elements offers you the opportunity to sample "elements" of Far Eastern cuisine, including Thai, Chinese, Japanese and Malaysian dishes.

It is rather like a large canteen with seating available for up to 400 people. There is also a bar and a separate function room availble for private hire. There is no need to book a table unless you have a group of you going (they don't let you book if there are less than 8).

When you arrive you are shown to your table and your first drinks order is taken. You are then left to east whatever you like!

The choice is fantastic with over 80 dishes to choose from in the evening and around 40 at luch time. There is no time limit on your stay.

There is a wide choice of food on the menu -my favourite is the crispy aromatic duck along with rice, noodles, sweet and sour dishes etc. I'm sure you get the idea - I don't have time to list them all here!

Food is on several counters and you simply help yourself to whatever you fancy. There is a wide range of starters, main courses and deserts as well as a sushi bar and not to ne missed is the Teppanyaki - choose your own raw ingredients steak, chicken, prawns, salmon, noodles and a few beanspout and the Japanese chef will cook it for you before your eyes. This is absolutely delicious.

The place is very clean and staff are friendly and efficient always redy to take your drinks orders and plates are cleared away promptly once you have finished your food.

The buffet costs £13.90 per head in the evening and around £7 at luchtime. I am not sure on the child price I think it is around £9. Excellent value for money as you really can eat as much as you like!

Facilities for the disabled are good as there is a lift and staff will willingly move tables etc to accomodate you if there isn't enough room. High chairs are also available.

It is open from 12 noon until 3pm and then from 6 pm until 11.30pm (10.30pm sundays).

Go and sample some of their food if you are ever in Milton Keynes and let me know what you think, remember to wear trousers or a skirt with an elasticated waistband!
