Back in 1993 I was told that it may not be a big town, but in the future Ellesmere Port will be the place to live in Cheshire. The person who told me this could not reveal said they could not reveal any more information than that as it was classified or words to that effect. Let me take you back to 1990. Near to the M53 motorway lies a power plant named 'Shell', in it's shadow lies miles of open ground. The only thing in site is the edge of a housing ... ...By 1992 a Sainsburys had been built on some of the land, with ample parking facilities it drew in the numbers. Yet the land around was unused, unsightly, and going cheap. Further growth followed. A office complex, a high class sports club, some shops, some more shops, and for good measures a few more shops. Pubs went up, by the late 1990's there was hardly any unused land, and approaching 150 new shops, creating around 2000 jobs for a small Cheshire ...

Advantages: amazing and educational Disadvantages: long queues, gift shop expensive
On a recent trip to Manchester we decided to go to the Blue Planet Aquarium. We thought that we would like it, the friends we were staying with would like it as well as our two year old daughter. We weren't wrong. Firstly, to get in. We had a 10% discount, and I just noticed that there is a printable 10% discount voucher on the web at their site www.blueplanetaquarium.com. We paid £6.95 (- 10%) and our daughter was free. Children over 4 pay £4.95. ... ...you are of the diving sort dive sessions in the shark tank for £40.00! We took the dry tour. We arrived around 10.30am and thought it quite full then. But we were the lucky ones when we came out a couple of hours later the queue was enormous and we were glad we weren't one of the shivering ones outside waiting to get in. Anyway there is a underwater simulator ride for a charge of £2 just near the entrance but we didn't try it so I can't tell you ...

Advantages: So many shops to choose from Disadvantages: There is no point going if you don't intend spending.
Cheshire Oaks is a shopping village unlike anything you will find in the town centres. This is a Designer Outlet, and almost all of the shops sell their items with around 50% off that of high streets.
Situated one mile off Junction 10 from the M53, this is a shopping experience not to be missed. If you are not familiar with the area, it is not that far from Chester, this will give you more of an idea of the location.
The range of shops is just ... ...just typed up a list of over 100 shop names, so here are just a few;
LADIESWEAR - Here we have Moonsoon, Warehouse, Liz Claiborne, Evans, Next to Nothing, DKNY, Marks and Spencer and Elle. There are over 34 ladies fashion shops, so there is something for everyone. Even if you don't like shopping, at some time in our life we have to do it, and if you can't find what you are looking for here, then I don't know if you ever will.
MENSWEAR - Here you ...

Although Los Angeles is glamorous on paper and the images of glitter and money are on our TV screens and magazines, you very rarely see it if you ever have the chance to go there. Miami in Florida is the place to go if you want to see all that close up as its still in its raw studio production stages down there. In LA the studio lots are all hidden away behind the arterial sweeping freeways and sprawling housing conurbation’s symbiotic with ... ...biggest and most central studio which sneaks around the Hollywood Hills district of town.It also offers tours a coupe of days a week although you don’t see the guts of film making.Its quite near the Hollywood bowl where you can catch an outside stage play or gig,starting at $20. The infamous conspicuous Hollywood sign lazing in the smoggy hills is officially out of bounds to tourists. But if you ask at your hotel they can give you pointers ...
