Elounda Beach Hotel, Elounda

Advantages: Secluded location, Sea-front, Great variety of accommodation, Lots of Activities.
Disadvantages: 2 1/2 hour transfer from Herakolin Airport

...Set in a secluded, sea-front location, Elounda Bay Palace Hotel is a well maintained, friendly and cooperative environment to stay in for a fortnight. I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome of this hotel as it sounded so unbelievable in the brochure that I thought it was to good to be true. However, I was proven wrong, happily! The Hotel is set in twenty acres of very well maintained gardens that are impeccable. It also has some of the best accommodation and the greatest variety I have stayed in ever before. LOCATION The location of this hotel can not be beaten. It is secluded, sea-front and set in twenty acres of some of the best kept gardens in the hotel market! Advantages: Fantastic menu, a View to Swoon Over and Dishes to Die For....
Disadvantages: You'll be Spoilt for Choice!

...Introduction Gone are the days when the hubby and I could book a last minute package to our beloved Greece, throw a few clothes in a rucksack and stuff a few Euro's in our pocket's for quite a few beers and a meal a day!. Since becoming a mother i've transformed myself into a planner, a fanatical ironer and seeker of quality food to bestow on my daughter in the hope she will have a more varied palate than her father - who unfortunately remains a meat and two veg man despite my protests. So just 2 weeks after giving birth to my daughter last May we decided to return to Elounda in June this year, where we have spent many a happy holiday and 'eventually' married there back in 2004. I had great plans on the Taverna's we would return to... that is until we discovered the Ergospasio on one of our many early morning walks with the little one... Read review

Advantages: Beautiful surroundings, and very clean
Disadvantages: Not much of a beach.

...The hotel is situated in amazing surroundings that take your breath away; mountain rages surround the hotel and its area, Elounda. However the employees, I found to be quite rude and unpleasant, at time especially to children. Nevertheless, the food was faultless with plenty of options for people to choose from. The hotel was very clean and with beds changed everyday. Also, there were pleanty of facilities frelly available to use. The swimming pool, was really nice, the water would cool you off after soaking up the sun. Children were also entertained because there was a kids pool and also a kids clud, and children could participate if they wanted to. They were not forced into participating which somtimes can spoil the holiday for kids because they dont want to join in. Howver, the beach not far from the hotel did not live up to my... Read review
