Advantages: Luxury, quality, good food, relaxed atmosphere Disadvantages: Very busy with wedding parties at peak season
...This has to be one of the finest hotels on the island. Its design is ancient Greek and Roman. The rooms are amazing, very comfortable, huge beds most of the rooms have great views but there is a section where you are looking over waste ground, not a pretty sight to wake up to! You usually have to pre book sea view rooms by the way and thats a definite during high season. The food is great too lots of choices and excellent quality. The bar off the reception area is a popular meeting point for residents and non residents, it has a relaxing atmosphere and the service is very good....drinks etc are a bit pricey but then you are in a 5 star hotel! Very popular for weddings as you can imagine with both locals and tourists alike, busiest times are from June through to September. The hotel is located right on the beach so you wont have...

Advantages: luxurious, inside town centre, myconian/aegean views, excelent service, friendly stuff Disadvantages: lots of rooms on the back with no views and too much traffic noise

Hotel Belvedere is a very well known bussiness in Mykonos. Most of the times you can meet celebrities staying there, as it offers stylish luxury and it is situated inside the town centre, in a small walking distance from the high standard bars clubs and restaurants.
It offers everything you could expect from a hotel in its category, minibar...

Advantages: Variety! Beaches, food, people - Greece! Disadvantages: Very hot. Remembering HOW to deal with loo paper
...After experiencing another UK Summer, I was inspired to head for Mykonos! I was somewhat intimidated since Mykonos has a reputation for being a young person's place.
I flew EasyJet from Luton UK airport (my favourite airport) to Athens. It is a no-frills airline but even parking is simple (you can book it at the same time as you do your flight) and the airport is easy to get into and back out of! Then I transfered to Olympic for the flight to Mykonos. You can also take a ferry, instead, but it is about 5 or 6 hours on the ferry, versus less than an hour to fly there. And I wanted to hit the beach!
A friend's daughter was working at a nearby resort, so she found me a place to stay and it was unique! It was a traditional Greek cube style cottage, which had been carved into a hillside, so the interior had not only a stone floor...
