Emerald Airways ran the cheapest service from Liverpool to the Isle of Man for a long time (£20) each way and as such were very handy for a university student to get home once in a while. The check in and cabin crew staff were not from Emerald Airways themself, but from another company. However, this didn't effect the service in anyway and was much better than other budget airlines in this standard. Food and drinks weren't included in the short 25 minute flight but could be bought for typical vending machine prices if needed.
