... If two whole days of an all too brief holiday are spent just travelling there and back, why not fly by an airline that treats it`s passengers like humans and not cattle - That is why I can safely recommend "Emirates" to you all.

Advantages: A Very Pleasant Experience. Disadvantages: Hang on. Let me think!
...Just last month, we flew Emirates from Manchester to Mumbai and back with a transfer in Dubai, their "home" airport and after our first four flights with them, I would not hesitate to use them again whenever possible. In order though to justify this commendation, you need a few facts, figures and observations on our journey.
Routes, Prices and Fleet
Emirates have a growing fleet of up-to-date Boeings and Airbuses that service their expanding operations ... ...about £30 a night. Also Emirates have a frequent flyer programme called Skywards, based on the number of miles that your journeys have taken. These add up to gain up-grades, free flights or hotel accommodation. Full info can be found on the Emirates web-site, www.emirates.com. This site is a wealth of information but deserves another opinion all to itself ( I am not going to write it either!).
Well, that`s it folks. Already planning our next trip ...

Advantages: Not having to fly from London Airports, nice food, entertainment choices Disadvantages: Aircraft getting a bit old, longer journey times, shopping temptation in Dubai
...consecutive long haul ticket with Emirates Airline. After two trips to Bangkok, this time I'm off to Kuala Lumpur with hubby. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the other airlines. On the contrary, I have flown with many excellent airlines including BA, Cathay Pacific, Thai and KLM. However, the main plus point for me with Emirates is the fact that it flies from Birmingham, my local airport, which is only a fifteen minute drive away from ... ...is extremely significant. Flying Emirates means no more smelly airport coaches to London (try sitting next to the loo for up to five hours), getting stuck on the M40 and nearly missing a flight and no more huge queues in LHR. Flying Emirates also means the long flight to Asia is broken after seven or so hours in Dubai, which surely has the most glittery airport in the world. This gives me a good chance to stretch the old legs, some retail therapy ...

Advantages: On-time ... erm, on-time .. Disadvantages: leg room, customer service, entertainment on older aircraft
...a very mixed experience with Emirates recently. It was the first time I had flown with them and after reading the reviews on Ciao was prepared for a really nice flight. We flew Emirates from Birmingham to Dubai, and then onwards to Bangkok.
Online check in is excellent and I would recommend this to anybody that has access to the internet, straight forward and no queues at the airport, unfortunately we were not able to use this service on the return ... ...the aircraft had the new Emirates "ICE" entertainment which in all fairness is fantastic - i can see why it was voted the best in the world. Just the music selection alone could take you from Auckland and back - and back again to even stratch the surface of! There are also the newest films on demand, a TV channel and lots and lots of sub tv channels showing Discovery, History channel etc. The food on both flights was served within minutes of the ...

Advantages: Award winning Airline of 2001, efficient service, excellent in-flight entertainment with live on-board cameras showing front views, comfortable flight, plenty of Emirates stop-over offers Disadvantages: none really…hope it expands its fleet faster and adds the US sector sooner!
...enjoyed a pleasant journey with Emirates from UK via Dubai onwards to India and have no hesitation in recommending this airline for any part of your journey. Emirates is the international airline of the United Arab Emirates. It is currently expanding its fleet that consists of mainly Boeing 777’s, Airbus A330’s, A310’s and A300’s with more Boeing’s and a super jumbo A380 which is meant to carry more than 500 passengers! ... ...INDIA (Hyderabad via Dubai)
Emirates excellent service record and the launch of new direct flights to Hyderabad in July 2001 made me book this airline for my recent trip to India. The launch of direct flights to Hyderabad in India has made this route very popular with travellers looking for direct flights to Indian cities such as Hyderabad, and Chennai for example. Normally when I fly to Hyderabad, I am required to take a flight to Bombay and then ...

FLYAWAY AIR Review ofEmirates Airlines - UAEby
alflavor
I recently flew on Emirates airlines to Dubai from Birmingham International, and then back again obviously, 12 days later! Emirates bill themselves as an award winning airline, having won 190 awards for excellence, including Airline of the Year in 2000. These awards certainly reflect the standard of service I experienced.
Emirates are based out of Dubai airport, and with their fleet of Boeing 777’s and various Airbus planes they serve many locations ... ...occupied, and to this end, Emirates provide seat-back Entertainment for all passengers. The screen is touch controlled, and provides a wide choice of films, comedy, sport, and local destination programming. By this I mean that since I was travelling to the Middle East, a number of Arabic language programmes and films were also available. The Hollywood movies were multi-lingual as well, so if English isn’t your main language you can still enjoy a ...
