Emirates Airline is one of the most rapidly expanding airlines. This carrier has its HQ and hub in Dubai; it has been based there since its inception in 1985. The Dubai-based international carrier has already won a sizeable number of international awards for the quality of its services.
This airline has a very modern fleet composed primarily of Boeing 777 and European Airbus aircraft and currently flies to almost 60 destinations around the world. These include destinations in Australia, South East Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
Their cabin crew, pilots and engineers are recruited from various countries and most travel agents and passengers who know the airline well have commented on the very high level of proficiency of the multi-national staff. Emirates are known to place a lot of emphasis on crew training and its crew medical training programme is well regarded. Indeed the training programmes for both its in flight and ground crews have been accredited by the highly regarded Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Many international airlines ,of course, have modern fleets and proffer good in flight services but Emirates also enjoys an excellent reputation for the quality of its in flight cuisine, for its very impressive in flight entertainment system which is personalised with monitors on the back of seats and its very high maintenance standards.
Emirates are also widely known to be a very price-competitive airline and on their flights from South East Asia to Europe do provide a stop at Dubai which many passengers enjoy on account of the excellent duty free facilities there.Generally I prefer direct flights on the Europe-South East Asia sector but there are merits in having a stop on such a lengthy flight. Dubai has a reputation for being a real bargain place for inexpensive duty free goods.
Talk to travel agents and you will find many rate this airline very highly. Its reputation seems to get higher all the time. It is some years since I last flew with them but for my next trip to Europe I am seriously considering using them. My local travel agent reckons them to offer a great service at a very competitive price and her judgement is usually not found to be wanting. As indicated previously their standard of service is good but they also happen to be a very price compatitive airline.
