Advantages: great atmosphere, reasonable prices, quick service Disadvantages: can get crowded
...I love Acapulco. Its cheap, cheerful, right in the middle of the city on George's St, the food is great, the service usually excellent and they do great pitchers of margueritas!
Acapulco isn't a fancy place, you walk into a busy room, with colourful Mexican-style seating, where the tables are closely packed. But everyone in there looks like they're really enjoying it. Thats what I love about the place. They are extremely busy, but don't try to hurry you along to get their table back. That's not to say the service is slow - no matter how busy it was when I've gone there, I've never been able to make that complain.
Starters start at around EUR5, with mains from about 10 upwards. Theres a decent choice, with both Mexican staples (nachos, burritos, quessidillas) as well as the usual chicken/beef options.

...Mmmmm Mexico, now that's what I call bliss. In fact I am well travelled but this has to be one of my favorite destinations. The weather is superb, there is plenty to entertain you night and day from soaking up the rays to water sports, flea markets the list is endless as it is at night time too (not forgetting the Hard Rock Cafe of course). There is something for everyone.
I will say I have visited, Cancun, Puerta Vellarta and Acapulco. I found Cancun to be ok and had a wonderful time there but too much like the mexican version of blackpool so wouldn't return. Out of the other 2 resorts, I cannot chose. They are both quite different but fantastic too and will 100% be returning to them both....

Advantages: the weather, the people, the area, virtually everything in fact Disadvantages: the beach sellers, the cockroaches, the long flight time from the UK, and a small earthquake.
...Firstly my general rule of thumb about going on holiday is, when choosing a destination it must be somewhere I have not been before, but Acapulco is somewhere I would return to in a heartbeat.
It has to be one of the best holidays I have had in a long time.
Why? I hear you ask.
We booked about 6 weeks before we went so not exactly last minute, but not ages in advance and paid around £750 each for all inclusive 4 star hotel for two weeks. All the hotels are arranged around the bay along a long road called La Costera, and many are actually on the beach.
The hotel was fabulous, on the beach and the staff were great, you didnt even have to get out of your sunlounger to go to the bar, the waiters came down on to the beach and delivered your drinks to you dripping with ice. Well you need to keep cool in 47C heat.
Before this turns...

A scent is always difficult to describe with words only, especially when you're enthusiastic about it.
Armani's own website describes it as the sensation of white cotton slipped over clean, fresh skin. It further calls it simple and direct. I'm not... more
