Student Clubbing in Stirling

Advantages: cheap nights **now closed for refurbishment**
Disadvantages: Its usually dead

...two in the city centre, Enigma and Fubar (which lives up to its name), one near the uni campus The Beat and one in the student union Glow. So students are limited in their clubbing options. So in stirling has evolved a club rota, Mondays in Enigma, Tuesday the beat, wednesday glow and the beat (glow shuts at 12/12.30), thursday fubar and the weekends, we'll if you can afford weekends you'll be at home.
So enigma, a former Luminar (UKCN) club ...
...have a UKCN card from Enigma it will no longer be accepted so no more member discounts. But the clubs future will the 'big sea bird' looks bright, as Albatross own clubs in Edinburgh and Glasgow like Opium,Establishment, Stereo which was formerly Gaia and last years student bar of the year (whos name escapes me now, Lighthouse i think its called), plus Rush and Q Bar.

Is it F.U.B.A.R?

Advantages: its not enigma, its busy on thursdays
Disadvantages: its not open mondays, its not enigma

Mostly this place to me and my friends is the place to be on a thursday night, well after we've been to enigma for free drinks (how good it is to be staff!) FUBAR, is the club in stirling that when i said i was going to be at uni there my mate frank (40) said i remember that place, we used to get the train down from Oban (about a 3 hour journey) for a night out. So with that recommendation i set off for uni. Well on first impressions i liked the place, the floors were suitably sticky, the staff the usual nightclub assortment and the music well downstairs was cheese and upstairs was everything else. Great, Then i discovered the place has so many steps all over the damn place especailly upstairs, try walkin around half pissed in heels and then fall over every ten steps or so because there was a step you missed. No big deal really id fall ...
