Here's a special treat for diners who can handle eating in a cramped, unstylish restaurant smack in the center of Chania's public market. The fish and other seafood come from stalls barely 4.5m (15 ft.) away. All the other ingredients also come straight from the nearby stands. Food doesn't get any fresher nor a dining experience more "immediate." Sit here and watch the world go by.
