Hi, I'm Paula also know as P to my friends. Just had a really fun day playing in the snow with my boys and work colleagues. Who'd have though that a bunch of 30 somethings could behave like kids just beacuse of a little snow!

Priviledge my car insurer chose Enterprise Rent-a-car for my courteousy vehicle after some blaise bloke hit me from behind! Within twenty minutes of me reporting the accident to my insurers I had the Enterprise team on the telephone organising my hire car. They took all the necessary details over the phone, after which I asked the type of vehicle I would be given.
Finding that I was to be given a three door Micra filled me with concern. So after carefully explaining that I had two young children, a large pushchair, and a bad back and lifting an 11 month in and out of a 3 door Micra just wasn't acceptable they upgraded my car free of charge to a 5 door Almera. This was big enough for me, the children, pushchair and took care of by bad back. Pity the room between my thigh and the steering wheel was so small (I'm not the biggest person in the world. They arranged to pick me up from the garage at 9.30am and take me to their offices to pick up the Almera.
I took my Focus to the garage for repair on the Tuesday, and waited for Enterprise to collect me. 9.30am came and went, at 9.45am the garage rang Enterprise who said someone was on their way. 10am still nno sign of Enterprise the garage rang again, and was told someone was on their way. Now considering Enterprise was only 1/2 a mile away it shouldn't be taking that long if they were on their way. 10.15am the garage gave up calling, I gave up waiting and the garage drove me to Enterprise which took all of 5 minutes.
When I got to Enterprise, there was no explanation or apology for the fact that they were incapable of collecting me, or picking up the phone to call me personally to let me know there was a delay.
Apart from that little hiccup everything else went very smoothly. The paperwork was waiting for me when I arrived, and I was offered a Tea or Coffee while everything was completed. I signed the paperwork, checked over the car for damage and paid my £50 refundable deposit.
Enterprise's office was small, compact and very minimalistic but as I don't work there it didn't really have that much effect on me.
The very charmin young lady showed me to the car, helped me fit the car seats and put the pushchair into the boot. She showed me how to operate all the controls and how to open the petrol cap, along with reminding me that the car took unleaded petrol. She then talked me through all the emergency phone numbers in case I needed them. Thirty minutes later I was seated in the car and drove away.
I had the Almera (not a car that I would recommend) for one week returned the car to Enterprise and the same lady who served me before took the keys, checked the vehicle and refunded my £50. Then one of the team drove me round to pick up my Focus. They helped to swap over the car seats and the pushchair, and then went on their merry way.
Enterprise were very courteous and helpful, I would certainly recommend them to others. The only downside I suffered was the initial pickup arrangement. Other than that a very interesting and positive experience.
