i had a minor accident with an elderly lady crashing into my ford focus, and it was all being handled by her insurance, so i was very happy, thats where the happiness ended.
i was informed that i would be getting a rental car from enterprise, they seemed quite nice and chatty over the phone, and they picked me up and toke me to the enterprise office.
i was shown the car, and then asked for £50 fuel deposit, which no-one told me about, a bit confused, but happy to go with it i payed the money, and set off.
two days later, i found there was a flat tyre, having had many flat tyres before i thought nothing of changing it myself, to find that the locking wheel nut key supplied did not fit the locking wheel nut. A bit confused as to why they supplied the wrong key, i phoned the enterprise office, and was told to phone the AA, with whom enterprise had an account. I phoned the AA.
20 mins later, the AA man told me that, there were two options break the wheel nut off, or pump up the tyre and take the car back and exchange it. once again i phoned enterprise and told to bring the car back.
once i had got back to the enterprise office, they inspected the vechile, it had twice as much petrol in it, and it all seem to be going ok, untill i was told they would replace the tyre at my cost, but not to worry as it would be cheap. however no-one in the office knew how to get the number off the tyre, so i went out , and got the tyre number myself!
after a phone call i was told that the 1 tyre was going to cost me £135.52, and before i had a chance of disputing it, they had allready charged my card, i was not happy, and to make matters worse, they wanted to charge me for the AA call out, at a cost of £45, even though it was on their account! and any other costs would be charged such as the fuel!
i was so angry i walked home, because they were to busy to drive me home, i got home and decided to ring the head office, only to speak to the same person, who kept on transfering my to phones that would just ring, and then cut off, so theres no way of complaing
I WOULD NEVER RENT A CAR OR VAN FROM THEM, PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF FROM THE HIDDEN CHARGES!!!!!!

Hi welcome to Ciao, I think with most rentals you really need to read the small print, that said they should have the correct equipment in the car in the first place. If you don't mind me mentioning, you might just want to check the spelling. All the best. Larry
