Advantages: The music the sort of thing I like to listen too... Disadvantages: Pickpockets, being hassled by Greeks, expensive, cattle market...
A few months ago my friend came to stay with me in Enfield while I was at uni. We thought we would venture into central London for a night of pubbing and clubbing. After the pubs we planned on going to several clubs but never made it through the doors - either we were too young (over 21 nights), the queues were too big, or we didn't look 'gay' enough...We thought we would never find a club that would let us in. Well the queue to the cloakroom made up for the short queue at the door...
When we finally made it into the club it was straight ...

...bars and bang there was Equinox again, ok, the que was quite short and it was £10 to get in on this Friday which I expected.
Big hype on the posters and stuff but good music being heard.
We went no probs, no one got refused and everything was ok. As soon as went in you could see this "Biggest Dance Floor in the West End" packed to the brim and it was on 11.30pm, uhhh? Also there was nothing but guy's everywhere not good for me like.
The prices ...

Advantages: the music, the people, free entry for students Disadvantages: long queues to get in if you arrive late
I went to Equinox for the first time last week. I don't live in London but decided I wanted to go for a night out in the centre. I was listening to Kiss 100 and heard an advert for their weekly Friday night in Equinox, so sent them an email to get on the guestlist. There were 10 of us going and they added us all on the list for £5 entry each!
We turned up at 10pm, the security were friendly - they are strict on ID but as long as you've got your ... ...are all students, we got free entry (it's free to get in with an NUS card before 11pm). That put me in a good mood, I wasn't expecting to get into a Kiss night for free!
There is a real mixed crowd there, the atmostphere was really good. There was no trouble and it wasn't full of posers, just people looking for a good night out. The music was great. DJs from Kiss 100 play there every week and at 1am Nathan sang live on stage - not my kind of thing ...

Advantages: Large size, seating available on higher levels Disadvantages: Tourist Trap!!! Full of tourist and very few Londoners
Thie club is well known, but when we went it was a bit of a let down. The girls where hasseled all night by Greek guys. And the dance floor was cramped, although the venuce itself was huge. At least four floors, which where open to look down at the dance floor. The prices where average for London. However their selection crietiera for who gets in and not is very odd. We were aloud in, but the group of Japanese people were refused. The reason was ... ...under age at the time, and I looked it. Their polciy might of changed since then, but after that night I didn't want to go back to see if it had. The insides is, sorry where tackay to say the least on the dance floor, although the higher levels where well kept and seating clean. The toliet situation was poor though, not enough for the numbers inside.
To sum up. This club is busy but is mainly full of tourists on a Friday night anyway. Crowded to ...

Equinox in Leicester Square is huge. However it is not exaclty the best place for your descerning clubber to go. The entirity of the clientelle are european and the blokes are known for their hassling nature. The drinks are expensive and not that good. Service could have been a lot better, but then the bar staff were male and so were we so I think that played against us. The cost is high for what it is and the bouncers are comlete thugs. I would ... ...Equinox Club in order to get drinks a bit cheaper but it was not worth it. The music is ok but tends to cater for foreigners. Simply put, this is the worst, cheesy hole there is and i would not wish it on my worst enemy. I feel sorry for any unwitting mug that wanders through the doors. ...
