We were surprised and pleased to discover this restaurant that's part of a hotel and catering school housed in a villa from the 1800s. It's 8km (5 miles) outside Málaga and 3km (1 3/4 miles) from the international airport. In business since the early 1990s, this place is mainly patronized by discerning locals with a taste for good food. The menu is changed monthly. Dishes are no mere student experiments, but carefully crafted dishes. Freshly caught merluza (hake) is perfectly prepared with zesty mussels and mushrooms in a parsley-laced sauce. In autumn, loin of deer might appear on the menu with a chestnut purée. An excellent dish we recently sampled was loin of beef broiled and served with a red-wine sauce. Another specialty that frequently appears is ham-covered filet of pork served with a Málaga wine sauce. The desserts are made fresh daily and are sumptuous. The villa is old but the dining room adjoining it is modern, opening onto a garden.
Advantages: Shops etc open late, Beautiful Beach, Amazing Cathedral. Disadvantages: Noisy, dirty, has Bull Ring.
...!
The Cathedral is in Old Malaga, and it must be seen while you are there! I'm not religous, but feeling of awe this building gives you is amazing. Sta. Inglesia Cathedral has recently been restored, and you can have a look around inside for the bargain price of 2 Euro's. It is full of sacred art, paintings, altar pieces and statues by, Ventura Rodriguez, Nino de
Guevara, Alonso Cano and Claudio Cello. (Are they famous?)
There is a square called Plaza De La Merced lined with bars and eateries which I believe in the Summer is extremly busy with tourists drinking etc. This is just at the foot of the hill where the Gibralfaro Castle is situated.(Castillo de Gibralfaro) The castle was built between the XI and XIV centuries, and is one of Spain's most complete.
Close by there is a Roman Theatre (Teatro Romano) which is in the process of being...

...The truth is that I am Sevillian, but for that reason I am not going to criticize the fair negatively, because it would be to me impossible. It is a great fair and him little can be criticized, only one thing that already I will say more down.
This summer I have been in Malaga of vacations and Malaga has enchanted to me. It did not come by very pequeñito capital Malaga from and the truth that is as if it was the first year that I come because I see the things of another way. Of Malaga I like everything what I have known and then I will save myself to describe it.
Good then when it came me in the afternoons from the beach it showered and that to me that does to er world comé no. Later, being in fair said I and what we do now? then to go to the fair of Malaga. But to go (and this is the unique one beats that I see) you must take...

...Flown to Malaga now for a long time, the airport has grown in size and been improved drastically over the years. The Costa Del Sol has now got a trully impressive international airport on it's hands. Most U.K. airports now fly to Malaga. It's easy to get around the large airport. Car hire is available and can be booked on line with your flight details so that when you arive, some one is waiting with your car. When it comes to departure there are plenty of shops to spend your last few Pesetas, which must be spent by the end of December as they are no loger legal tender after that, with Spain joining the Euro. Malaga central for good easy access to all of the Costa Del Sol.
The airport has plenty of shops to chose from. A very well stocked duty free-allthough I found that mainland Spain is still a lot cheaper than the airport...
