Tankersley Manor Hotel

Advantages: Excellent Location
Disadvantages: Quite Expensive

Tankersley Manor is a place that I have been to a few times over the years and it was also the location of my work's Christmas Party at the end of last year. It is a well known Hotel and Restaurant with a good local reputation. THE BACKGROUND From the outside Tankersley Manor is quite impressive to say the least, standing in its own well maintained Gardens and Grounds and surrounded by Woodland the building itself is a rather imposing Stone built building. The Hotel as you see it today has been extensively restored but it has been built around a 17th Century Manor House that once occupied the location. THE FACILITIES Tankersley Manor has a Restaurant, a Health Club and 70 rooms all with en suite facilities. Much of the building has been restored to its original character and there are original Oak beams on the ceilings ...

Stratford Manor A Tranquil Retreat

Advantages: Clean, friendly, child friendly, pets allowed, lovely environment
Disadvantages: Can get very busy with slow service and not all staff are very friendly

, hair-dryer and working desk. The accommodation is to a very high standard with some rooms having the ability to interconnect this is great for families who can be near their children. If you want an interconnecting room then you have to request it in advance. As a guest at The Stratford Manor you have a wide range of dining options to choose from. There is also room service if you don't fancy venturing down to the restaurant. Each room features a bed with designer headboards and beautiful counterpanes. Colours such as chocolates and vibrancy light up the rooms. The outside of Stratford Manor has a modern décor with 4 murals that show the seasons. Despite its tranquil setting, the hotel is just 5 minutes away from the M40, connecting you to a number of interesting cultural attractions, including: Stratford-upon-Avon; Warwick ...

The Bridgewood Manor Hotel

Advantages: Lovely hotel, plenty of things to do.
Disadvantages: Poor location - need a car.

This Bridgewood Manor Hotel, well I guess I should start with where it is. The address for this hotel is: Bridgewood Roundabout, Chatham, Kent. It is situated in Walderslade and is approx. 42 miles from London Gatwick Airport and 3 miles from Chatham Train Station. There are many things to do nearby - Chatham Dockyard is only 6 miles away, as is Rochester Cathedral. There's the infamous Bluewater Shopping Centre only 16 miles away and Leeds Castle is 10 miles away. Ideally, you would need a car to travel around but if you are only looking to explore the surrounding areas, there are a couple of buses that stop close by, and taxi's are fairly inexpensive. Now, let's talk about what you can in the Bridgewood Manor Hotel: This hotel boasts an excellent range of amenities including a health centre. Within this there is an indoor ...
