It turns out that there was only one space left and since my boyfriend drives an old Mini she was eager to get us in as the one space left was too small for every other car! Etap Hotels are another budget hotel chain created by Accor, the creators of hotel giants Ibis. This 250 room complex is situtaed in the centre of Birmingham and all rooms cost £35, whether its a weekday or the weekend. I have stopped in this hotel twice now with my girlfriend so wanted to write a review about it. Most people would look at the £35 a night cost and think the hotel must be a dump. This is very wrong. The staff are very friendly and seem happy to help. There is a free secure car park but get there early as there aren't as many spaces as there are rooms at the hotel. My girlfriend and I did't want to spend hundreds on a room that we were only going to sleep in so this hotel was perfect for our needs. The room is very clean, shower is really spacious and hot (or cold if you like it that way).
