Equipment:

The Etap hotels can be compared with Mc Donald or Burger King very well. One gets off, one can be sure, what expects one and natural the other way round also, what one mustn't expect from Aix-la-Chapelle to Zwickau -- identical where.

As a Low budget hotel the Etap confines itself to the essential. The rooms dispose a basin, shower, toilet, desk, television set and alarm clock, of a big French bed, another sleep possibility for a third person in form of a bunk bed.

The Etap in Munich stands out due to the separation from shower and toilet and the available air conditioner in comparison with other Etaps.

Despite proximity to the main street many driven on the rooms are quietly and well isolated for closed window.

One has increased the offered number of TV transmitters from 7 to 16 in between so that all common transmitters can be seen.

Altogether, the equipment of the rooms is not luxurious but useful although particularly for those which in the end only look for a room for staying.

Prices:

The overnight stay costs € 37.00 for a person € 30.00 and for two persons. A third person must first of all be made an inquiry about separately.

For € 5 per person you also can have breakfast. Children less than 12 years have breakfast freely. I have not tested the breakfast since I find it too expensive a little. One can have breakfast more favourably and 'Bavarian' in the town.

Unlike most Etaps Munich city centre south does not have any free car park. One can rent a parking space for € 4.00 in the underground car park. Who to save this to himself wants, finds quite easily a car park in the adjacent residential area?

Service:

***Über den Service kann ich nichts negatives sagen. The employees at the reception are very kind; cleaning of the rooms is properly and reliably carried out.

Reservation/check in:

The Etap is completely almost always occupied so that a journey makes little meaning without reservation. Provided that one does it anyway and luck has, one can check in H over the cheque into machines as of 15.00. An employee as of 17.00 is personally entitled to one H at the disposal. The rooms become rents out H of the following day to 12.00. At a telephonic reservation under 0 89/69 79 86 40 one gets a reservation number. Written confirmations are not sent. H guaranteed, otherwise is H of the subsequent day the reservation without cash in advance to 19.00 to 12.00. One pays comfortably by card, cheque or cash in advance and gets a six-digit code which unlocks the room instead of a key.

Position:

The hotel is located in Giesing at the middle ring conveniently and city centre near at the Tegernseer secondary road of 174 b.

With a public transport one reaches the hotel of the central station with the U1 direction Mangfallplatz. One can get out at either the weather stone place or piece Quirin Platz, the hotel is located approximately between the two stations.

Who travels to Munich with the aeroplane further takes the S1 or S8 to central station and then as described first of all.

A filling station, pharmacy, baker and Turkish snack are located in an immediate proximity. A hl supermarket is a couple of one hundred metres in the direction of the weather stone place.

Result:

Wanting to stay as a favourable for Munich and central overnight accommodation for those, these primarily and being able to do without more detailed hotel performances (room service, mini-bar etc.) absolutely recommendably.
