If you have hired a car, the city centre can be reached within 15 minutes (its about 5km away). The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the Porte d'Italie metro station, from which you will be able to access the city centre. This is perfect for those people visiting Paris by car but who don't want to deal with the congestion of the city centre!
To sum up the EtapPorte d'Italie, i would say that its perfect for a few nights stay, but not for a weeks holiday. This hotel is porbably best suited for groups of three or less, as you will have to book two rooms to accomodate extra persons. The Bellevue hotel is a three star hotel and has 36 rooms, which are all nicely decorated in either burgundy or blue tones. It is a four storey building with lots of parisian style.
The hotel is a small independantly run hotel which is in a fantastic location 19 Rue d' orsel, 7518 Paris which is at the foot of the Sacre Coeur church in Montmartre.
I had pre-booked a taxi online when I booked this break. Taxi was from the Charles de Gaulle airport and when we arrived the Bellevue Hotel was lit up outside and looked very warm and welcoming.
The hotel has a small reception desk which is open twenty four hours and the reception staff are very friendly and helpful. At the side of the reception desk there is a large rack with lots of tourist information leaflets on where to go and places of interest ...

budget. I think it's worth visiting the many cafés in the area as there are so many, what's the point in eating in your hotel with other tourists when you have Paris!

The hotel has 51 good quality bedrooms, some rooms are slightly smaller than others but there is everything you need in them.
I always said to my boyfriend if we came back to Paris let's try another hotel, but for practicality reasons we always end up here, so I've seen a few of their bedrooms.
So far I've noticed if you have a slightly smaller room the view or bathroom seems better, the last time I was there it was a small room but we had a little balcony with some little chairs ...
