Advantages: Beautiful Disadvantages: Can't think of any
Yes, another Venice review...Probably my last one though...
Okay...Saint Mark's Basilica (Basilica di San Marco) was built in 1071, and is in Venice, at St Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco).

Advantages: Lots to do and see!!Trips to Venice Disadvantages: Language barriers although not a big problem
I travelled to Porec in Croatia last year and found it to be the closest to paradise i have found so far on my travels. I stayed in the Hotel Pical which is just a 10 minute walk from the town. The hotel was fantastic and the facilities including the restaurant were amazing. I found Porec itself to be a calm envvironment with plenty to see and do. Another great advantage is that from Porec you can traval by boat to venice for the day, although quite expensive (about 150 for the day including gondola rides which are a must) it reall y made the holiday for me!!
I would go back tomorrow but would hope that it hasn't been ruined by tourists. During my weeks holiday i only heard a few people speaking english (very different from past ...
