Eurocamp - carnac les menhirs - great facilities indoor and outdoor pool Didnt see anyone supervising outdoor pool but indorr pool lifeguard constantly there and stopped the older ones dive bombing which was also great as it gave a chance for families with small babies time to swim also without being hassled. The only negative i would say is if you want a lounger around the pool inside or out get there early as they go like hotcakes on a good weather day
small bar on site which provides light entertainment singers and has a pool table and a telly
table tennis tables 2 x outside and 3 inside they are all really busy
no restaurant on site but you can buy takeaway food and supplies from the little shop on site - or you can go to the supermarket about 5 minutes walk away, but also plenty of lovely restaurants in the main drag of town also 5 minutes away.
The beach is about 10 minutes walk away.
There is a laundry room shower facilities on site also for campers.
Stayed in a mobile home - very comfortable all crockery provided including tin opener sharp knives forks frying pans and pots and oven trays kettle hairdryer microwave gas cooker which had a safey plate across the front to stop little hands getting burnt, a stereo, big blankets and pillows so bring your own sheets cases and towels. They also provide a safety gate for the front doors you can have them open and know that the baby will not get out. A small fan so no air con but we went in beginning of july when weather was just about perfect not to hot and not to cold Hangers inside cupboards Hot water on tap nice table chairs with a parasol and loungers outside mobile home. bbq with bbq utensils. The only negative thing i would say is we were right up the back near the pony rides site so walking if you are unfit could possibly be a bit of a chore so best come with a bike or better still hire one in town which is really cheap.
There was not to much noise as they have a strict policy no noise after 11pm or before 7am. If you are leaving before 7am you have to park your car out the front but no worries there as they have security guards on site night time which saves a lot of unnecessary worry. It was really lovely to see lots of different nationalities mixing together with no bother at all.
This really is a great site for families who like to be active or just sit and relax with a bbq and book.

Eurocamp reps were not in there little hut for most of the time and you had to phone them on a mobile if you had to reach them or leave a message on a notepad. So you do have the added expense of trying to contact them yourself if you cant find them on site and trust me its so big you do not want to be walking around it! All being said though that when you do find them they are very helpful and when you leave a message they are very quick to respond.
The carnac stones short drive away. Also tourist train that takes you from carnac stones along carnac seafront and along trinite sur le mer and gives you a good feel of where you can go for 6 euros which was quite reasonable.
I would recommend this place definately absolutely lovely place great feeling children had a fabulous time and i liked the fact that it was nice and quiet nighttime
