Eurostars Hotel Barbera Parc, Barberà del Vallès

Advantages: Cheap, on the main stretch to Barcelona centre, relaxing and functional.
Disadvantages: get booked up very quickly in summer, no lift to floors.

...As this is the first review for this Formule 1, I'm going to make it a good one. We have stayed there many time's and always got a good nights sleep. These hotels offer exactly what people need, clean rooms, warm, comfy beds with TV, Basin and mirror in each room. There are half a dozen toilets and about 3 showers per floor (so not for those who don't want to skip down a corridor to the loo) and they even supply the washing soap and towels. In each shower there's a massive dryer to do the whole body!!! The corridors and rooms are all carpeted so your feet don't get cold on the way to the shower. The toilets and showers are all on an automatic cleaning cycle and several times a day the doors are automatically locked (when there's no one inside) and the rooms are blasted with water!!! ...I travelled from Ashford international to Marne La Valle'e the the station at Ashford there was lovely plenty of space to move around and places to get a drink or a snack before you departed i felt like i was in a airport. Arrived at Marne La Valle'e station baggage was all sorted out at disney express and taken to hotel no problems there. On the day of departure from the hotel you take your bag and check it in at luggage room then you have the rest of the time before your journey to enjoy the parks. Arrived at Marne La Valle'e station collected baggage no problems there. This is where the fun starts there is a full train full of passangers travelling back i guess well over 200 passangers and baggage were all waiting for the check in desk to open, we arrived early (approx 2 hours early)to avoid the rush. Advantages: More than just travel details
Disadvantages: Oh God! He's a train spotter!

...minutes from the overall passage through Kent and South/East London, but for me, once St Pancras via Stratford section is opened, having a longer Underground ride back to west London, the extra advantage of even more fast lines will be largely nullified. This would be the case also for anyone transferring from Heathrow to the Eurostar – yes the new line’s faster but you’ll take longer getting to the trains in the first place. Ashford (Kent) is the only other UK stopping place at the moment, and is well served by all the usual chains of traveller’s hotels with shuttle buses/arrangements with minicab companies to and from the station. The station also has considerable covered car-parking capacity, and is easy to locate from the M20, provided that you don’t follow the first Ashford sign on your way down from London.
