Advantages 35minute crossings, more then 50 crossings a day & cheap rates!

Disadvantages limited cheap rates if you book closer to the time of travel

Well... what can I say about Eurotunnel? What an amazing mode of transport. Recently voted one of the seven wonders of the modern world, it has spectacular consumer care.

What there is to know about Eurotunnel?

Ticket Prices:

Day's trip/Day overnighter tickets from £22 each way (DT)

T&C's of this ticket type.

Non refundable, only valid for the booked date and time. You don't travel then you have 24 hours after you booked departure time to amend it. These tickets are valid for one year so if you can't travel then you can amend them upto one calendar year from date of booking. If there is a difference in the ticket price then you will have to pay that as your amendment fee!

Trips 2-5 days from £39 each way. (SBS - Short Break Saver)

T&C's of this ticket type.

Non refundable, only valid for the booked date and time. You don't travel then you have 24 hours after you booked departure time to amend it. After this time they will be invalid. These tickets are valid for one year so if you can't travel then you can amend them upto one calendar year from date of booking. once you traveled out on the ticket, you can extend you journey upto the maximum of midnight on the 5 calendar day if you need more time but after this if you haven't travelled back or amended then the ticket will expire and you will need to purchase a new one for returning. If there is a difference in the ticket price then you will have to pay that as your amendment fee!


Trips 5day+ from £49 each way

T&C's for this ticket:

Non refundable, only valid for the booked date and time. If you don't travel then you have 24 hours after you booked departure time to amend it. After this time they will be invalid. These tickets are valid for one year so if you can't travel then you can amend them upto one calendar year from date of booking. If there is a difference in the ticket price then you will have to pay that as your amendment fee!


2-5 day first class £149 each way (Short Break Flexiplus)

T&C's for this ticket

Fully refundable, non amendments fees. Valid for one year from date of booking. You don't need to stick to the times and dates chosen as you can travel whenever you like within one year. Whatever day you decide to travel, you have 5 calendar days from that date to return. You get priority boarding for whichever train you turned up for and if you vehicle is under 1.85metres in height you can also use the flexiplus lounge and have FREE light meals and soft drinks and a newspaper for all people travelling.

5+ first class £199 each way (Longstay Flexiplus)

T&C's for this ticket:

Fully refundable, non amendments fees. Valid for one year from date of booking. You don't need to stick to the times and dates chosen as you can travel whenever you like within one year. You get priority boarding for whichever train you turned up for and if you vehicle is under 1.85metres in height you can also use the flexiplus lounge and have FREE light meals and soft drinks and a newspaper for all people travelling.

    Everything I could ever wish to know, thanks for taking the effort to put this together. I've used the tunnel twice and was really impressed. Sadly, living down here in Cornwall it's usually more economical to use the ferry
