Advantages speedy IF it works
Disadvantages expensive, unreliable, useless customer service, long delays ...
Tuesday 21/12/2010 - We normally use the ferry to go to the UK, but decided to pay more and shave an hour of our journey by using Eurotunnel - BIG MISTAKE WE WONT BE MAKING AGAIN!
We arrived on time and immediately saw that there was a delay of one hour! When the delay finally turned into 4 hours and no sign of ending we checked into a hotel. We have 3 year old twins and had a 6 hour drive in the dark ahead in the UK. Whilst we were waiting the expensive shopping centre selling cheap rubbish and low quality food. No childrens play area and no seats because of the amount of people waiting.The next day we arrived at the terminal early but could not take the first 3 trains. Too full, cancelled ... We finally got on the fourth train which was also late!
We wanted to change our return date and Eurotunnel wanted another 100€! We then booked our return trip with the ferry for 50€ and have a perfect return journey leaving and arriving as scheduled. SeaFrance serves better food, have an indoor childrens play area and at least you can stretch your legs.Detailed Rating

Welcome to Ciao. Sorry I can't rate this any higher but there isn't enough info here for me. Maybe if you read some other reviews in this category, you'll get an idea of what to include. And if you do add more, let me know and I'll take another look for you.
