Advantages: great choice of music, atmoshere etc Disadvantages: its not open every night
This is the best club going. It is situated by the bay in its own little comlex, well its not little huge actually. As it is away from the town centre a free coach service is provided from town to the club and back again at the end of the night. This service is every 20minutes, picking up from Greyfriars and St Mary st from 9.30pm until 1am. At the end of the night the coach will drop you off at the ice rink from 1am until the club is closed, depending ... ...and friendly to the customers.
Once at the club you can either go into the club straight away or you came visit Rosies the preclub bar next door. The door staff are what I would describe as friendly giants, they are nice enough to talk to but you just dont get on the wrong side of them as they wont except any nonense, ie you will be asked to leave the club if you cause any trouble. They are very strict on age and if you look slightly ... more

If the search results in a find then the police will be notified immediately. The club wants to make everything as safe as possible for their customers.
Once you have entered you walk up a big staircase which leads you to a choice of two clubs playing a different choice in music. If you have a coat once upstairs you will be asked to keep it in the cloak room.
Each night is a different night. On a Wednesday it is student night, with music being in room 1 chart and party and in room 2 dance/trance music. The drinks are cheap, selected bottles being £1 before 11 and £1.50 after so you can have a cheap night . Entrance is £2/3 depending on whether you are a student or not.
On a friday it is until 6am unlike the 2am on a wednesday. Then there is garage and house music . With this they have different DJs playing there every week. One called Jimpy is there every week and he organises this. They have had others called Slinky and Lisa Loud performing aswell. I am not into this type of music so I am unable to say if they are that good but people who are into this type of music seem to think they are big. If you go on this night though be prepared for loud music. The normal sound level of the club is what you can hear on the door so it will be really loud upstairs.
On a Saturday there is the same music format as on a wednesday, with bottles being around £3.It is then until 4am. However the clubs are swapped around, with chart and party in room 2 and dance in room 1.
Dress code is casual on a wednesday and Friday but on Saturday it is smart with no denium or trainers allowed.
There are sometimes special events they have consisted of foam parties, Ibiza live linkups, Radio 1 show, steps tribute band, Robbie Williams tribute, Rocky Horror show and many more. They also sometimes have bouncy castles, surf board machine, bronco ride and spinning wheels. There is lways something for everyone there.
Food is also available there . Normally chips, burgers and now they do take away pizza.
Whatever type of music you are into there is something to suit everyone, a great atmosphere, affordable drink, nice staff and free transport from town and back. What more could you ask for.
If you become a member there on your birthday you will recieve party tickets for you and your friends, giving you free entrance and a free drink.
The lighting is good in there, room 1 is the best for that. They even have lasers that can put writing and pictures in the air above the dance floor. Usually they tell you about any events coming up soon or have little dancing figures etc.
Go and visit the best party in town go to Evolution. You wont be disappointed.
Advantages: Big club relatively cheap Disadvantages: Outside city centre
I'd like to start off by saying i am a massive fan of this club. Not only is it's design fresh and original, but compared to other clubs of the same status it's generally quite inexpensive.
Although situated outside the city centre a free bus picking up and dropping off from many central locations at regular intervals more than compensates for this.Plus, you get the added bonus of being situated in huge complex with Red Dragon Radio,12 screen cinema, bowling, ... ...The club plays chart to specific types of music and there are two huge rooms to combat different taste, the second playing more hardcore dance.
On wednesdays it is student night with drinks promotions and special features and dress is pretty casual, costing £3.00 to enter.
If you're in Cardiff you can't afford not to go there!!!!! ...

When Evolution first opened i was licking my lips with anticipation, but what promised to be a huge venue capable of putting cardiff on the clubbing map has turned into an average cheesy nightclub. Not that that means its not a good club however, i've had many a good night in Evloution with reasonably priced drinks on Student Nights (wednesday) and two huge rooms catering for pop/cheesy music and dance music (albeit commercial). Evolution also offers ... ...every 20 minutes from 9pm til 2am so you'll have no problems getting there.
Now with attractions such as bucking broncos and cages to spin you around in, you are sure to have fun, and almost surer to be ill the next day.
Not a clubbers club, but defintely worth a look if you're looking for a bit of fun. ...

Advantages: cheap booze on wednesday Disadvantages: too many under 18's
...that everytime i go to evolution the club seems to full of drunk under 18's, don't the parents of these kids know what they are up to. You go in there and you are garanteed to see a smashed glass and the dance floor always seems to covered in alcohol. The DJ in the house/trance room can not mix at all and it sounds like he plays the same set about 3 times during the night. The only people i would recommend this too is the under 18's as they seem ...

Advantages: Evolution is a really good club and it should stay open.i can't believe that it is shutting down! it's too good to be shut down. Disadvantages: i can't think of any disadvantages for eolution because it is such a good club!
Well i've been to evolution so many times and every time i go i know for a fact that its the best club i've been to so far. They can't close it down because so many people will miss it.there has always been a high number of attendantcies and a lot of money has been brought in to that club. My friends dad is the current owner who is closing it down and my friend and her sister are really annoyed and at the moment are not talking to their dad due to ...

Advantages: Saturday nights Disadvantages: Victim of its own success
Evolution is not a restaurant as the Ciao category states, but a nightclub is situated outside of Leeds city centre on an industrial park on Kirkstall Road, Leeds, along with a cinema, bowling alley, pub and Virgin Gym.
Evolution is a firm favourite with Leeds students, especially on a Saturday!!! There are also student nights during the week, particularly on a Monday. But it is the Saturday night that it is the most popular.
Evolution is huge! It has 3 rooms playing different kinds of music. The main room (room 1) plays cheese and student anthems, it also has a stage where "celebrity" guests such as David Dickinson and Elvis impersonators make special appearances! This is the biggest room, with seating around the perimeter of the room and has 2 bars - both of which get very busy. There is a also a big television screen which you ...
Advantages: value for money and great day out as lots to see Disadvantages: need an entire day to relish and enjoy all exibits
get a good look , looking up and down at all its beauty.
When you enter the musuem you are welcomed by a huge exibit a 26 metre length skeleton of the dinosaur Diplodocus and that is just a sample of what is to come. You have millions of specimens showing years of evolution and even though these specimens date back hundreds of years the musuem does have some modern technical areas displaying some of the animals we can all relate to.It is very big inside and so to make it easier the exhibits are divided into Life galleries and Earth galleries and so its easier to know which exibit to go to. Half a day is not enough and you won`t get your moneys worth if you arrive late, there is so much to see. Its always crowded with school children and hundreds of tourist and so it should be its that good. I paid £11 to get in but watch out ...
