This has to be the worst service I have ever been on. We were warned by a number of people when we booked with this company that we had made a massive mistake, how right they were. The Plane broke down, we were delayed for eight hours, we were (including my two year old boy) offered an out of date prawn sandwich, there was no representation from Excel staff what so ever at our delayed airport, no information about our service and to be honest a complete shambles. We were eventually put on another flight but had no luggage, no buggy for my 2 year old or his childs car seat. This flight landed at Heathrow when our original flight was due to go to Gatwick. We were told that we were going to be met by an excel rep' at Heathrow, no one ever turned up, we were told that coach travel would be there for us to get to Gatwick, we had to wait a further 2.5 hours for this after making numerious calls to Excel head office. We then arrive at Gatwick and would you believe have to report our luggage as lost another 1 hour (in total a 12 hour delay), we eventually recieved our luggage back after 3 days. At Gatwick they thought it was acceptable to drive a 2 year old home without a child car seat. They have refused to date any compensation, however I am in the process of taking legal action against them. PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM, THEY ARE THE COMPANY FROM HELL.
