Innkeeper's Lodge Newcastle

Advantages: quiet location
Disadvantages: some staff are a bit pushy

My husband and I stayed in this hotel after having problems catching the ferry to Amsterdam ( look out soon for my DFDS Seaways review) and so we needed a place to stay overnight until we could catch the ferry the next day. In the Innkeeper's Lodge hotel booklet this particular hotel come under the name of Newcastle Airport but although it was in the direction of the airport it wasn't exactly nearby. The location is a few minutes off of the dual carriageway. We could actually see a medium-sized roundabout from our bedroom window but actually it is in more of a village location and the area was relatively quiet and we didn't get disturbed at all by traffic or pedestrians. CHELSEA LODGE HOTEL -acceptable accomodation

Advantages: cheap and cheerful
Disadvantages: not classy but perfectly adequate overnight, but bed not good

CHELSEA LODGE HOTEL 268 FULHAM ROAD LONDON SW10 9EW 10 min walk from Fulham Broadway tube, same to Earls Court I stayed on Saturday 25 October 2008 because of its (reasonably) close proximity to Earls Court where I was attending an exhibition. There was another similar rated hotel behind the underground station but it was reported to be very noisy and I thought a 10 minute walk from hotel to destination would be refreshing, which it was. This hotel is on a busy main road on the corner of a junction, but inside the big old building you were not really aware of this. I think the hotel just had about 14 rooms in total, so not a busy place. The hotel receptionist was very pleasant and helpful and efficient. The room was clean and bright, and although I booked a single, they were all occupied and I was given a double ...

Our Friend who stays in Brighton booked our accomodation for our 2 day stay, Premier lodge charged £54 per night per double room. There is an underground secure car-park available for £5 per night, of which our car never left the entire stay. Located on North Street Brighton, premier lodge is central to all the nightlife, restaurants, shops and is 5 mins from the beach. Premier Lodge offer the following:- En-suite facilities Direct dial telephone television and radio 24 hour reception Wake up alarm Tea and coffee Desk areas Hairdryer. iron and ironing board, smoking/non-smoking rooms, disabled access rooms and family rooms are available. Check in time is 2pm and checkout has to be by 11am although they did allow us to keep the car in the car park till 4pm to do some shopping. Entry is via a key-card system ...
