We, a family of four, stayed here as a stop off before travelling to Disneyland Paris. We needed a cheep hotel near to Waterloo Station in order to catch the Eurostar train.
The Hotel was clean and modern, the room was quiet , comfortable, airconditioned with satalite TV and in good decorative order. The bathroom was clean, loo, sink, and bath with powershower over it, and plenty of towels. Reasonably large bedroom with two double beds and still room to walk around after bags were put on the floor. Tea and coffee in room.
The charges were for room only, with continental breakfast free. This was very reasonable as there were four of us in the room. We requested extra pillows from reception on our way out for the evening and they were in our room when we arrived back.
The continental breakfast was good, self-service, with a wide selection (cereal, toast, croissant, jams, cheese, ham, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, pastries, donuts and fruit juice). Continental Breakfast is the only meal available here (no Full English or Dinner).
I would recomend the hotel for business, or as we used it, as a stopover in the city (our visit cost £69, this is a weekend rate), we booked on the internet, you can check rates/availability/facilities/how to get there etc on the Holiday Inn website, booking in advance will secure you a better rate.
The Holiday Inn Express Hotels differ from the usual Holdiay Inn Hotels, as they are aimed at the business one night stay market, and amenities like gym, swimming pool etc are not available. There are also no facilities for children.
If you are looking for a hotel for a holiday with facilities, gourmet food, and luxury you would be advised to look elsewhere.

Tell us more about the room and any service you have used. For example, was the room large enough, was there sufficient walking space after bags have been placed on the flooor? What was the bathroom like?

could have done with a bit more detail cos I'm stopping in a Holiday Inn in another part of London soon & would have liked to know a bit more

SOrry for the low rating! If you edit with price details - details of the facilities the hotel offers - details of the cleanliness and size and facilities in the room etc. please let me know and I'll re-rate. Im always looking for cheap City accomodation for when I miss my last train! C xox
