I stayed at this Greenwich hotel this Christmas and was drawn to it because of its cheap price for quality rooms. I booked through hoteldirect.co.uk.
The location of the hotel is excellent. Although the area around it is not very aesthetically pleasing, it is close to the O2 arena and a local retail park which was great for my holiday, yet it is far away from central London so not busy.The hotel is near the Blackwell Tunnel and I was anxious about there being a lot of noise at night, but this was not the case.
From the hotel you can see many great things such as the O2 and Canary Wharf, which produced some great shots on my camera.
The staff were helpful but not intrusive on my visit.
The rooms themselves are probably described as being quite basic. However I am used to traveling abroad to countries like Greece, so I thought the room was great. The beds were clean and comfortable, the bathroom complete with a power shower and W.C..
Breakfast was included free and there was great selection of food available and you could take as much as you wished.
Overall, defines great value.
