My most sincere apologies for the title - what I wanted to have was "Rather Ornate Cathedral's Home? Exactly, Something Tourists Eagerly Relish!" but ciao has a 50 character word limit! It's 06:10 and some lovely person in my hall of residence intentionally set of the fire alarm at 05:00! Since I have lectures at 9, I thought "What to do, stay up or get 2 more hours of sleep?" I travel a lot, and I was recommended this website so I'm going to provide reviews on the places I've visited, starting with this hotel, which I have frequented many times.
Firstly, I shall start with location. It is situated on Maidstone Road, Chatham. This hotel is perfect if you wish to sight-see around the Kent & Medway area. There are many attractions nearby, including:
Leeds Castle, The Chatham Historic Dockyard, Rochester Cathedral & Castle, Dickens Centre in Rochester, Canterbury Cathedral, and Brands Hatch Race Circuit.
It is fairly easy to get to from surrounding airports, eg. Gatwick is 40 miles away, and Heathrow is 65 miles away. There are coaches available, if you don't have access to a car. The nearest train station is ...

The city of Rochester,although rather over- shadowed by Canterbury as regards tourism in Kent,is nevetheless a very attractive city that has a good deal of history and heritage to offer the visitor.
Rochester is only 30 miles from London and is a city that captivated that brilliant writer,Charles Dickens. The great author actually spent much of his childhood here and in the surrounding countryside. This old city occurs frequently in his novels. The High Street of Rochester houses the unique Charles Dickens Centre which is open daily. Every year too there is the celebrated Dickens Festival when there are costumed calvacades,musical extravangas,competitions,a grand firework display and street entertainments.
