We only stayed one night in this hotel.
Our room was a good size with an en-suite bathroom, clock radio, direct dial telephone, coffee and tea making facilities and remote controlled colour television.
Breakfast was included. It was help yourself to cereal and juice, then we were given a menu with various cooked breakfasts. It was really nicely cooked.
Downstairs there is a very smart looking restaurant and a more relaxed bar but as we didn't eat there I can't really comment on those.
Our room was at the front of the hotel, the major drawback of this being the noise of revellers leaving the Brendan Arms late at night and, early the next morning, a crowd of very noisy, excited ducks on the canal as the sun came up! (Can't really blame the hotel for that though!)
Bed and Breakfast cost us £115 (for two of us in a double room). I'd have to sum up by saying it was a nice hotel, but not so special that I'd want to make a point of staying there again.
