...Once it was a fisher village. San Terenzo was discovered in XIX century by these famous tourists of the gulf Shelley and Byron.
Today San Terenzo is a populous and bright village, in a splendid position. The sea, the beach and the houses are very close to each other, so San Terenzo maintains the Ligurian spirit. Advantages: Hot, cheap, cheerful Disadvantages: Noisy, poor air quality
...Visit Bangkok for an unforgettable culture shock. See Khao San road - home of the backpackers and setting for the first chapter of Alex Garland's "The Beach"- and all the Wats (temples). Avoid Soi Cowboy's elephants and girlie bars and the Suhkumvit area where the expats hang around but feast near Ratchadamnoen for a few pounds on roast duck with ginger and fresh crabs and prawns. Take the air conditioned buses, not the red...

There are hundreds of trips and excursions on offer for those looking for more than a city tour, with the vast majority taking full advantage of the city’s location under the Andes. For more active people there are options aplenty for the likes of mountain biking, golf, parasailing, 4 x 4 biking, horseback riding and climbing. For those looking for a more relaxing time there are plenty of markets...
