On the Square

Advantages: Good location, good standard, clean and pleasant
Disadvantages: A bit anonymous

The Square is a mid priced hotel situated in the heart of Copenhagen, on Radhuspladsen and overlooking Tivoli Gardens. A short walk from the Central Station it is very handy for transfers from the airport and provides an excellent base for touring the city. Part of the ARP-Hansen Hotel Group it is one of several hotels in Copenhagen and like their other properties offers a good standard of accommodation geared towards the modern business or tourist traveller. Location ~ Despite the claims that the hotel overlooks Tivoli gardens this is somewhat misleading. Granted, from the top (6th) floor you can see the giant Tivoli sign but that's about it. There aren't really any other views available as it isn't in the prettiest part of town. A few minutes from the station it occupies a large portion of an unprepossessing retail ...

Review of The Square, Copenhagen

Marvellous Melbourne

Advantages: The Most Liveable City in the World
Disadvantages: A long way away from practically everywhere else!

up along the river, the casino has magnificent views across to the aquarium and the city's skyline on the opposite bank. CITY CENTRE: Cross the river towards Flinders St Station (Melbourne's main railway station and a famous landmark) and the newly-completed Federation Square. You'll find yourself in Melbourne's CBD which is based around a roman-style grid system, and hence, pretty easy to negotiate without getting lost. There is quite an array of charming lanes and arcades, mostly dating from the Victorian era, some complete with original 1890's tiling and mosaics. Here, as elsewhere, Melbourne presents some pretty gorgeous possibilities for shopping and eating. Neat little Tokyo-style Sushi bars are dime a dozen, as are tiny, tucked-away Florentine-style cafes, some seating as few as eight or ten customers? Melbourne is a city ...

Review of General: Melbourne (Australia)

Roger Federer

Advantages: Great Forehand, Simple Game and Consistent
Disadvantages: None

. Federer was born on the 8th of August 1981 in Basel, Switzerland. He made his ATP tour debut at the tender age of 17. He made his first major breakthrough in 2001, reaching the quarter finals in both the French Open and at Wimbeldon. In reaching the Wimbledon quarter finals, he caused one of the biggest upsets in the history of tennis. He knocked out defending champion Pete Sampras, who was unbeaten in 31 matches at WImbledon. This did seem to be the beginning of something special and Wmbledon, for the Swiss player. Federer had to wait until 2003, where he lifted the trophy becoming the man from Switzerland to hold the Wimbledon mens title. Federer beat Australian Mark Philippousiss in straight sets. Earlier this year, Federer won the Australian Open at Melbourne park to secure his second major Championship. This confirmed his position as ...
