Ferihegy Airport (BUD), Budapest

Oh, goodie! I finally get an opportunity to be the first person to review an airport. You see, I don't travel all that much, and when I do it seems like I'm always going to the same places. But when I was sent recently to Hungary for a seminar, I came upon Ferihegy - the international airport for the capitol, Budapest, which makes it the national airport for Hungary. If you are flying to Budapest or eastern Hungary then this is it. Making comparisons with the other review: 1: for our flight there were only four passport control stations open and when our flight from London arrived they were still processing an earlier flight. 2: baggage processing was good: much better than Heathrow. 3: driving through Budapest is a nightmare and to be avoided if you can. 4: No quick kiosks for British Airways although I did see two for Air France and another airline.
