County Fermanagh is my own home county and let me take this opportunity to tell you how wonderful it is and about the loads you could do and visit while on a break here. Fermanagh is better known to many as the region in Northern Ireland known as The Lakelands. This beautiful county lies in the West of Northern Ireland.

The main feature of Fermanagh is it's large lake called Lough Erne. The lough provides tourist with numerous activities to do such as sailing, water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing, swimming, fishing as well as other activities. The jet ski championship are held in Fermanagh every year and attract a large number of tourists.

The county also has a lot of historical locations to visit such as Belleek Pottery, Enniskillen castle, Castle Coole, Florencourt House, Famine graveyard at Adress ( near the village of Kesh ), Stone circles, Crom estate, Castle Caldwell, White island.

There is also some lovely scenery to enjoy and some wonderful sites to visit such as the Marble Arch caves - which are breath taking.

Enniskillen the main town in the county provides a great range of shops to suit all types and all pockets.

There are numerous places providing accommodation from 5 star hotels , Farmhouses, good B&B's , to motels. As well as some super eating locations - Francos is lovely for pasta dishes , and there is the well known chippy street with lots of spots to eat in.

Fermanagh boasts a large amount of bars - many theme bars with a traditional irish feel about them. Just ideal for a guniness of wee bushmills.

I love this county and woudl recommend you to visit it to truely understand where i am coming from

This has got to be your best opinion yet. It's informative, well-written and well presented now you use paragraphs. Surely you can only get 'very helpful' ratings if you carry on like this. Thankyou for taking the time to read ALL my opinions! I was shocked and i will try to read as many of yours as i can (you've written just a couple more than me!!). Keep up the good writing:0) I have also added you to my COT.

Considering that you have so much inside knowledge of the county, I think you could write in more detail. Obviously it's hard for a local to write about hotels and the like, but give the potential tourists something that they will not find in a brochure. My review of Magherafelt will no doubt have the tourists flooding in this summer...or maybe not!
