The curiously named Ferret Hall Bistro is situated in the Headingley area of Leeds which is the heart of student land and probably why it's so little known.
Due to it's location a lot of people (including myself) tend to dismiss this place as a student haunt but I'm glad to say that the clientele is more, shall we say mature and the only student's you will find are the ones serving you.
The restaurant is on The Parade which is part of North Lane ... ...just under £9 for the Ferret Hall burgers which are home made and top out at £17 for the fillet steak. All dishes include a choice of potatoes, rice or French fries but I would call these chips, far too thick for fries and the dishes also come with vegetables or salad. ...Anyway, enough ramblings back to Ferret hall( an unusual name I know).

The first thing that hits you when you walk through the door is what a buzz this place has, it is usually quite full with happy customers chatting away but rarely over crowded, although this was the case on one visit, but on a Friday night what else would you expect? I personally would much rather be in a busy restaurant than an empty one anyway.

Ferret hall does not open for lunch but is open everynight from 6pm until 10pm, it is a lovely comfortable place to eat on a reasonable budget its only down fall being lack of space really.The parking space is also quite limited but you have good access to buses and there are always plenty of taxis handy.If you do fancy a visit I would advise booking as this little place fills up quickly.
