Silo Theatre is a Dutch Theatre from Amsterdam. And indeed, ... ...And there wouldn’t be enough festivals in the world to describe Silo’s originality enough. The exceptional Dutch brings us the wild imagination of global madness. Total chaos that allows recognizing the pictures or the situation on the level of one conventional theatre or the level of free associations of one theatre. In one word, magic, unless you are looking for the concrete or global metaphoric meaning.

The Viennale has been going since 1960 and is Austria's biggest international film festival. It is a public film festival which premieres Austrian and international films, attracting a lot of guests from the film industry, and showing in excess of 150 feature films, short films and documentaries. In addition to the main events there are also tribute showing to various film directors, actors and producers. There are various awards up for grabs mainly ... ...and the competition is very strong. The festival lasts a fortnight and is on during mid-end October end year, and is well worth going to if you want to see some films other than box-office smashes. The official website (www.viennale.at) gives more precise information on the films that are showing and about the venues. Although this film festival is not as famous as Cannes or Montreux, it is nevertheless worth a visit. ...

Advantages: Many to choose from and always something to do Disadvantages: Some are a little pricey
One thing that i found as soon as i landed in Vienna was the friendly people. They would actually go out of there way to make me feel at home, the taxi driver was full of information about the city and was extremly helpful at the the end of the journey where we sat for a couple of minutes and he gave us information on where everything was and things to do around our hotel as well as tips on the pubic transport. The most important of which was that ... ...of the events too look out for is the 'donou fest', a sort of island like weekend of extravgenza. Theres a perment fair with lots of thrilling rides as well as more peacful ones like golf. But i think the best place to is the Town Hall, every weekend they have a diffrent event going on, when i was fortuante enough to visit a couple of months ago they were having a 'classic car show' as well as a ''sports youth event with free public concert''
