Advantages: Relaxing, very close to the beach,10 mins away from shops Disadvantages: not the place to go if you want nightclubs, as its the quieter side of the island
I first stayed at this hotel, two years ago, with my boyfriend, and he and his parents had been going to this part of the island for many years,
but when he mentioned Ibiza my first thought was, its going to be very noisy, full of clubs, bars and lots of drinking,
as i had heard all the stories, but i thought i would go just to see, i couldn't have been more wrong,.
The hotel itself has just been redecorated, and is very well kept, there is an indoor bar, and restaurant and they also have an outside dinning area, but space is limited so you have to be early for dinner, there is a large pool, which has a seperated area for children,
There are steps leading down to the beach, and another outdoor bar just off to your left as you reach the bottom of the steps, which is also part of the hotel.

We booked this holiday through an Irish travel company called Abbey travel based in Dublin and although it was expensive (Italy usually is expensive in my opinion), we loveld the look of the hotel.
Flight was to Nice form Dublin with a personal taxi transfer to SanRemo at hurtling speeds across the French/Italian border.
The hotel is very grand indeed and would be a lovely place to take your most precious partner for a luxurious break and a bit of pampering. It really is 5 star in all aspects.
The rooms are sumptious and the decor is right out of an antique catalogue, the clientelle are all well heeled and the atmosphere is like out of a 1930's novel with Brits abroad emulating the grand tour of the 18th century.
As we are in Italy, it goes without saying that the food was gorgeous throughout our stay and the Italian style ...

the steps, which is fine so there is actually enough room, just be prepared to get up that extra bit early!!
The fiesta staff do a great job throughout the day with all the activities like killer pool, killer darts, ping pong, and their own fun games. The prizes are a bottle of bubbly for the adults and certificates for the children.
To be honest, before we went we were a bit weary because of all the bad reviews, but its not like that. Okay, the entertainments not great, but make sure you see Zapping, and the Karaoke and Mr Tanit. They are all great fun & hilarious.
The only bad thing about it is The French Hotel next door. They have their own private pool, which is always empty because they are allowed to use all of the Tanits facilities including the restaurants and sunbeds / pools etc, but we were not allowed into their hotel/pool. This ...
