Fiesta Hotel Tanit, Ibiza

The fiesta staff do a great job throughout the day with all the activities like killer pool, killer darts, ping pong, and their own fun games. The prizes are a bottle of bubbly for the adults and certificates for the children.
To be honest, before we went we were a bit weary because of all the bad reviews, but its not like that. Okay, the entertainments not great, but make sure you see Zapping, and the Karaoke and ...
...The only bad thing about it is The French Hotel next door. They have their own private pool, which is always empty because they are allowed to use all of the Tanits facilities including the restaurants and sunbeds / pools etc, but we were not allowed into their hotel/pool. This could be one of the reasons for the overcrowding at the pool maybe?

Just got back from a 10 day stay at the Tanit, and it was amazing! The food there was amazing, you should see all the sculptures made out of different foods, there incredible. For breakfasts, there is your english breakfast in buffet style, lots of fresh fruit, pastries, and even pancakes and omlettes made in front of you, just like at lunch & dinner where fresh fish & meats are cooked to order in front of you. There is 3 pools, one for the babies, one for small children, and then a huge one for everyone else which goes quite deep. There is always a lifeguard there though. Sunbeds- be careful because they have all gone by 9:30 so if you want one then be down there before 8:45 to find your spot with the towels, then you have to wait for the man to come and unlock the sunbeds. Later on in our holiday, people started putting sunbeds up the steps, which is fine so there is actually enough room, just be prepared to get up that extra bit early!!

The beach there is beautiful though! And only a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Sunbeds there are €4 each, but make it abit more comortable. The beach is safe, with small waves, but you can hire pedalows for €10 an hour which i would recommend. There is a nice beach bar on the beach, which cooks fresh food & is readonably priced.
It is a great hotel for teenagers, the staff do a great job, especially Lou, Pico & Dj. They make a great team. I would recommend paintballing for the teens which is €15 and the hotel staff take them their. Its great fun!!
Overall, this was a great hotel, and i would love to go back there. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and would say don\'t take the other reviews seriously, wherever theres free child places, theres gonna be lots of kids, just go there open minded and you will have a fantastic time - we did!!!

The hotel itself- the reception area is spotless, there is 4 computers there (they cost €4 for half an hour or €6 for an hour), a whole load of sofas (which are really comfortable btw), which leads to the Entertainment room, its a bit small but most people tend to sit in the other 2 bars, the pool bar, and the inside one - both are reasonably sized. The bar staff are great! The dining room is big and is both inside and outside. It can get busy though, so to avoid the crowds get there early! The hotel has 3 lifts, but as it has 7 floors, it can take a long time to wait for one to come, so i would advise the stairs. The accomodation consists of 2 beds, and a sofa bed, (or if your lucky 3 beds, we had the sofa bed, but this was still comfortable), tv with various channels, we watched Sky News, the only decent English channel there, hairdryer in the bathroom, safety deposit box, 2 wardrobes, and really good storage spaces. The bathroom has a bath, with shower combined (its a power shower, and amazing!!) toilet (obviously). Towels get changed daily, as does bed made up (i think they get changed daily, cant be sure though). I think it has recently been decorated because the decor is fresh and clean throughout the hotel, it is also immacualtely clean!!
