Advantages: tonnes of attractions Disadvantages: it gets crowded
...Blackpool is a fab place to visit. the beach is alright the tower is really cool and the theme park is the muts nuts the badgers nadgers and the bees knees all rolled into one. there are so many hotels along one big strip, it is easy to get from the hotels to the attractions because there is a cheap but efficient tram service. Another way of getting around is in a horse drawn carrage but that looks a bit rubbish. There is a real big array of lights running along the sea front which are on at nights in the autum.
Blackpool is a must see place, best for a weekend or day trip....

Advantages: Sea view, swimming pool, buffet breakfast, gym Disadvantages: Old hotel
...The Hilton hotel in Blackpool is in an ideal location on the sea front at the end of the promenade. The rooms are on the small side but have all the necessities. I do not think it is as luxurious as some other Hiltons and it appears to be an oldish hotel, which has been taken over by this company. The shower was a bit disappointing - weak and too short for anyone over six foot! On the plus side, the hotel lobby is very glamorous and the staff were very helpful. The buffet breakfast was huge and could satisfy anyone. I had dinner there but was quite disappointed with meal as it was fairly ordinary. Warning though, the bar prices are extortionate! There was also a live singer in the bar who was very entertaining. The swimming pool is nice but a little on the small side....

Advantages: excellent facilities for the disabled Disadvantages: none
...The bond hotel is a family owned and run hotel in the south shore area of blackpool. the hotel specialises in holidays for disabled persons and their carers. Having 50 rooms this is a medium to large size hotel. They offer everything that could be needed including hoists and slings, cot sides, lifts, special dietery provisions, etc.etc. They have their own fleet of mercedes minibuses which have been converted to accomodate those with special needs including wheelchair ramps, lifts to the rear of the vehicle. these vehicles offer both pick up and return service and day trips around the north west. the hotel has evening entertainment and cabaret and bingo. the propriertors have announced plans to rebuild the hotel to 21stcentury standards including therapy rooms , spas, on site doctors, and so on. All in all a great hotel with great staff...

I visited the Broadway Hotel in October 2007, and was very disappointed with the standards of accomidation in which the Broadway Hotel had to offer. I have never stayed in such a dirty and poorly presented Hotel, in all the years in which I have visited more
