The train drivers wanted a pay rise, they go on strike and make the publics life very hard. And they continue to demand a pay rise. The trains are late and unreliable at best and sometimes the prices are too high. This is not a gripe about any one person but the general attitude towards work in general from the company. None of the staff seem to want to do anything. The strikes are now over so my oppinion may change. I only used this company for my travel as it was them or a bus ride which takes an hour or more on a good day. There was one major thing that did bother me about the company. The staff went on strike EVERY WEEKEND then during the week they would ask for a ticked before you got on the platform, ask for a ticket while on the train and then asked for a ticket when you got off the train. THIS WAS A HUGE HINDERANCE AND I WISH THEY WOULD STOP DOING IT!

If anyone else ran a company like that they would go bust in months, it would be like asking customers if they had money before going into a shop asking to see their receipt after they bought the goods and then asking to see it before they left the shop. Not very pleasing.

Another problem with the trains is that the windows leak when it has been raining, recently there has been a lot of rain and the inside of the carriages have been getting wet, they should fix these before asking for more pay!
I might not like them but there is no other alternative.
