Fishers Bistro is a great little restaurant on The Shore of Leith. On my last visit I enjoyed Fisher’s own fish cakes a deliciously hearty starter, followed by langoustines with garlic butter. Both were absolutely wonderful. My dining partner enjoyed fresh mussels and then traditional sirloin. The mussels were beautifully cooked and came with a wonderful cream and wine sauce. The food was reasonably priced with starters ranging between £4-6 and main courses £12-16. The wine list was also reasonable with most bottles priced between £10-15. Highly recommended to all but I’d recommend booking as it gets very busy even on week nights.
