But why are there no britains? Because this sport is not famous enough in Great Britain. So we will see us in the time from 28.12.2000 till 04.01.2001 or in the time from 19.01.2001 till 28.01.2001 in Flachau. It´s a great feeling to stand on the ski and you are very fast. Try!!!!!!!!!
Advantages: Big valley with lots of skiing Disadvantages: Mountains not linked so some bussing required
. All of this skiing is on the Sportwelt Amade skipass, meaning you can also ski at Flachau, Wagrain, Kleinarl and Schladming on the same ticket, if you can get there!

others, Bad Gastein & Hofgastein, Grossarl and Kleinarl, Wagrain, Flachau, Dienten am Hochkoenig and many more, so there is lots more to see. Travelling to these other resorts though is to be honest best done by car.
Snow is good for Austria as the mountains face north so hold their snow well, plus an impressive array of snowmakers get to work as the lifts close. Piste preparation is also excellent. The main problem areas are the links between the mountains which are well-travelled, quite low, and thus do suffer if it's warm.
We stayed at the Hotel Alte Post which is on the main square and is excellent. There are a number of hotels, pensions (B&B), and apartments in the town, but I doubt it's the kind of place you can just show up at and find a bed, especially in higher season weeks.
We were there for the night-time slalom both ...
