Advantages: Cheap, not bad location, food is nice Disadvantages: kids everywhere - not good for just couples wanting to relax!

The hotel and facilities:
The hotel was neither too old or new - just basic and did it's job - however it did look quite nice upon entering with an array of seating and marble floors. ... ...Rooms:
The rooms at the Flamingo Benidorm are relatively large - there was staying here but the room technically is made for up to 4 people so i guess it felt a bit larger for us as we didn't fill it! The room was always clean and was designed in principle very well as it had a bathroom to the right of the front door, a bedroom to the right side facing the door, a living room which has the extra sofabed in to the left facing the front door and then ...

Advantages: All Inclusive, Plenty Of Entertainment Disadvantages: Lots Of Kids
I recently stayed at the Flamingo Benidorm Hotel in Benidorm, Spain for 7 nights between the 17th and 24th October 2006.
LOCATION
The Hotel is located about 800 metres inland from Levante Beach, and about the same distance from the Old Town. It is set in one of the quieter parts of the resort on a slight incline. It is not to be confused with two other Hotels in Benidorm that have similar names; The Flamingo Oasis Benidorm and the Flamingo Aparthotel.

From the outside this Hotel does not look anything special. It is a tall building, as are almost all of the Hotels in Benidorm with 25 floors. All of the rooms face eastwards towards the Sea and overlook the Swimming Pool below so if you want a Pool View then you are guaranteed ...

Advantages: An all inclusive hotel Disadvantages: The garden swimming pool doesn't get much sun in winter.
...~~~~~I have updated this review by adding contact details~~~~~
We have been to the Flamingo Oasis Hotel in Benidorm, three times - January 2004, then again in December 2004 and most recently January 2006.
You've probably realised by now that this will be a favourable review of this hotel. So...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On arrival the the hotel looks like any other high rise hotel in Benidorm except that there is an illuminated Flamingo on the exterior of the building, above the entrance doors, this pink bird is almost the height of the hotel and when lit up at night is strikingly PINK!
In through the impressive circular doorway and you enter a lobby of wonderful proportions and mostly of marble with some wood, also you get your first glimse of the oasis - this is really hard to describe and I would suggest you visit the hotel...
Advantages: Excellent rooms, service, food, entertainment Disadvantages: Communication could have been better and too many machines requiring euros that kids bugged us for.
...We have just returned from the first holiday abroad in ten years and a fantastic fortnight it was too. We stayed in sunny Costa Blanca in Benidorm at The Flamingo Oasis hotel. It is an entirely all-inclusive hotel and a pleasure to stay in.
We arrived after an hour's coach journey from Alicante airport to a beautifully spacious reception at around 7.30pm and we were seen pretty much straightaway by the friendly, English speaking staff. Check in was a simple and quick procedure, followed by our photos being taken and produced onto our all-inclusive cards, which you are meant to carry with you at all times for spot checks. Our daughter, who is only 2, really didn't want her photo taken and the staff were kind and patient, settling on a photo of her being held in my husband's arms. We were given our cards and told we were on the 18th...
...I have just recently got home from the Flamingo Oasis hotel in Benidorm, which is an all inclusive hotel which has been an absolute pleasure staying in.
I arrived just before ten o clock on Saturday 30th June after a very long one hour bus journey from the airport. I immediately walked into an extremely large and spacious reception area where the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and they all speak fantastic English. Because it was so late we were given a temporary room card which we could use to get our free drinks for the night, these were replaced in the morning by cards which had a photo of me on it which was taken there and then using a digital camera connected to a pc. These are used to prove to the security guards and bar staff that you stay in the hotel and they are also rooms cards which is handy as I didn’t need...
I know when writing a review one should try to be balanced and give mention of both the good and the bad and therefore this review may seem like a bit of a rant but there really was nothing or at least very, very little good to say about this... more
