flamingo land is only 4 miles from pickering and only 6 miles from malton , noth yorkshire and about half an hour to whitby
when going to flamingo land for the directions i would take the a64 to york and follow the signs for pickering the signs for the theme park are well sign posted. when you get there the park is incorparated with the zoo and the accomdation and tenting facilies if you wish
The park had over a million visitors of the year and with its been the best attraction park you wonder why
if when staying on the park you will find the park open its gates at 10.00 am and then shuts at 5.00pm but like ourselves we stayed and got an extra 1 hour as with you been guests a lot of the rides stay open till 6.00pm
the prices of the park is £15.00 pound per person which isnt too bad and a family of four is quite cheap too 58.00 pound and under 4 goes free.
When i mentioned about having the accomadation on site this is the holiday village were we stayed with the new posh six berth caravans but if you dont want to be comfortable why not pitch your tent up for the week
They do have their very own Holiday Village. We stayed in one of the luxury six berth holiday homes but you can simply take your own tent or caravan.
if you decied to go saturday to saturday in spring bank holiday it would cost 470.00 but the only thing they request is to bring your own towels everything else is included in your stay at the park.
as well as the tents and the tourers are the best idea as the pay 30.00 pound a night
some of the rides a very good and some of the rides are old and need updating i do love flamingo land as there is plenty of things to do with the bar and the entertainment as well as the shops and the laundery if you wish to do your own. i love it and would go bk
