Florian’s in the Piazza, San Marco is one of THE places to see and to be seen in. I don’t normally go for THE places but this is a must for anyone visiting Venice. Florian’s just oozes, Venetian culture and history. It is the oldest Café bar in Italy and has been doing the business since 1720, and a very good business it is. We spent a good hour just sitting there drinking tea and watching, not sure what we watched as there is so much of it but you can while away your time there and not worry.
