Situated in the 'Scotland district' of Barbados it is very close to Harrison's cave and Welchman Hall Gully so its easy to combine visits and make a day of it.
When we went we spent about three hours there, the flowers were amazing with plagues situated ... ...them!!!
The flower forest is open from 9am -5pm 7 days a week. Admission charges do change, but it was about 7.00USD and children were half price.
There are tours to the forest but note that your visit is limited to forty five minutes or so, on these tours because of taxi waiting times. Or you can drive yourself.

When we went we spent about three hours there, the flowers were amazing with plagues situated around the forest giving details on the different types of flowers and trees.
The wildlife is out of this world. As you walk around the tranquil forest all you can hear is the chattering birds. And if you are extremely lucky you might even see one of the islands Green Monkeys.
What with the large variety of plants and species. The plants tower above you and you start to feel like you're in a giant's garden.
For those who have a passion for the exotic flowers, whether you live in Europe, the UK or North America for those who are interested, most plants are labelled with both their botanical and common garden names.
With such Scenery and in such a setting it probably isn't surprising that this is one of the most popular places for a wedding in Barbados, and who can blame them!!!
