The whole experience is like being in a mini rainforest. Situated in the 'Scotland district' of Barbados it is very close to Harrison's cave and Welchman Hall Gully so its easy to combine visits and make a day of it.
When we went we spent about three hours there, the flowers were amazing with plagues situated around the forest giving details on the ... ...can blame them!!!
The flower forest is open from 9am -5pm 7 days a week. Admission charges do change, but it was about 7.00USD and children were half price.
There are tours to the forest but note that your visit is limited to forty five minutes or so, on these tours because of taxi waiting times. Or you can drive yourself.
