I've been a member of silverwing on and off for a few years now. THe Flying Dutchman club is probably one of the best frequent flyer programmes although it is a little complex in its operation. Three different levels entitle the member to different levels of service and access to different lounges. Points can be collected for flights with KLM and partners as well as hotels and car hire.
The only downside to the Flying Dutchman club is the lack of service by KLM staff. To say they are dreadful is an understatement. Any enquiries to their helpdesk takes weeks for a reply - don't even bother trying to phone them. KLM staff at Amsterdam are equally dire.
