This place is amazing and I have never experienced an eating place like it......At first we thought it was just your run of the mill food court - how wrong could we be and nothing like we have seen in the UK...... Foodlife offers a cuisine for every taste featuring food from all around the world...It is Chicago's largest food pavilion and is situated in the Water Tower Place on Michigan Avenue known as The Magnificent Mile. You will find it on the Mezzanine level .There are 13 stations to quench any craving..offering more than 700 menu items....Make your way from Thailand to Italy in a few minutes ..... .There is American, African, Malaysian, Mexican, Middle Eastern, Pizza ,Thai and European food for you to sample and the beauty is you can have a little from each.... You are given an electronic card on entering and the hostess shows you to your table .......Reservations are not taken......Then you stroll around and order whatever you fancy and they swipe your card at each kiosk and you pay on the way out........ Ther's a Southern style kitchen offering baked macaroni, cornbread and sweet potatoes.. A mexican grill serves up spicy tacos and burritos, A healthy stir fry counter uses only the freshest ingredients - you choose a bowl of vegetables and your meat and then your sauce and then the cook does it fresh in his huge wok...... There is a soup food stop - don't miss the beef stew here - it is to die for....and the pizza stop which is amazing with freshly cooked pizzas.... There are burritos and huge baked potatoes where you can have every filling if you want it..... The World of Wraps has every type of filling imaginable.... The Miracle Juice Bar -has fresh organic fruit and vegetable juices, non fat frozen yoghurt shakes and icy fruit smoothies. Vegatables at Eat Green Prime Rib at Mighty Nice Grill The Road side Grill offers burgers with bacon and cheddar fillings and you can order fries. Viva Mexicana offers Chicken and Steak- made to order fajitas, vegetable quesidillas with soya cheese, whole wheat tortillas , fat free rice and beans... Rotisserie and BBQ - Herb marinated, spit roasted chicken or BBQ ribs with hearty side dishes. Laser Noodles - aslar style noodles Sweet Life - speaks for itself - sinfully rich to delightfully light homemade desserts with a variety of toppings..... The atmosphere is very casual and a cafe style setting..under realistic boughs of artificial trees festooned with lights. The place is very clean and the staff courteous and hard working.....It is child friendly and wheelchair accessible. There are a good choice of wines and beers.....and you can have soft drinks which are refillable and tea and coffee All the food we sampled here was very tasty - the atmoshere was friendly ...The set up is elegant and open plan...It seats 300... It is always busy - Its great if you and your family cannot agree on a place to eat because this will please everybody... It accommodates any size party

Street parking is available and there is no smoking.... This place throws a completely different slant on food court eating...This was our first time in Chicago and we found it on the first night and I did not want to try any where else - I loved it so much - it was just the freedom of trying all different things.....I loved it..
