Majestic Imperialis

Advantages: Balanced my troublesome skin
Disadvantages: It took me years to discover it

cleanse and tone with, and then as a moisturiser, she recommended Imperialis, and also told me that when my skin is oily it still needs to be moisturised, which is certainly where I was going wrong, because adding cream to already oily skin was something I avoided, but this was making the condition worse. Opening the pot, I was greeted by a rather luminous salmon pink/orange coloured cream with a nice pleasant scent which I think was the lilies but I could not be sure, although it was not as in your face as many of the other fragrant Lush products. Many moisturisers I have used tend to leave an almost slimy film on my skin which makes putting any make up on a definite no no for at least 30 minutes afterwards, but this was not the case with Imperialis. My skin felt softer immediately after application, although the product sank into the skin ...

Review of Lush Imperialis

'Imperialis, oh Great One!'

Advantages: No harmful additives, keeps skin hydrated for the whole day
Disadvantages: None at all!!

, therefore, I headed for the 'Lush' store in Bluewater where I was advised as to the best product for my skin type. The assistant told me 'Imperialis' would be perfect for my skin type (some oily areas with driers parts) and so after paying my £7.75, I headed back for the moment of truth. The packaging is different from the old-style 'Lush' stuff (the picture is the old pot)-it is now in a black plastic vaseline-style (the little metal pot that is!) tub and packs 45g of the cream inside. Who is it good for?: ********************* This cream, as I mentioned earlier, is best for the combination skintype; the ones that simply can't make up their minds if they are dry or oily who remain defiantly somewhere in-between. If this sounds anything like your skin, count your blessings; this cream will suddenly make your skincare regime a whole lot ...

Review of Lush Imperialis

When In Rome... Visit the Colosseum.

Advantages: An unusual and dramatic experience..
Disadvantages: If you have to queue in the sun.

Visiting the Colosseum in Rome is an experience you will not forget. I did not know what to expect when I went there.Everyone has seen photographs of the outside of the Colosseum and the inside as it once was has been reconstructed in many film sets. What did I really expect to see; I do not know but I suppose that I thought I would be disappointed at how little of it was intact or looked authentic. this was not the case though. From the outside the Colosseum Rome is a strange building, when you try to take photographs of it you seem to notice how some pieces of its structure look at odd angles to other parts of it. There are usually long queues of tourists waiting to get into the Colosseum. Outside there are 'Romans' dressed up as ancient Romans and they are there to make money from tourists who pay them to have their photograph ...
